The Protectron PSM010-1210 is a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuse, offering reliable overcurrent protection for a wide range of electronic applications. This radial leaded fuse features a hold current (Ih) of 1.2A, meaning it will continuously carry this current without tripping. When the current exceeds the trip current (It) of 2.4A, the fuse will trip, limiting the current flow and protecting the circuit. The maximum voltage rating is 16V. Once the overcurrent condition is removed and the fuse cools down, it automatically resets, restoring the circuit to normal operation. This resettable functionality eliminates the need for manual fuse replacement, saving time and maintenance costs.
