This device is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge (ESD). The 5KP16CA features a minimum reverse breakdown voltage of 16V and a high surge capability, capable of dissipating up to 5000W of power.
