Full Description

The 5KP10CA is a high-power, bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode manufactured by Formosa Microsemi. Supreme Components International is an authorised distributor of Formosa Microsemi components. This TVS diode is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge (ESD). The 5KP10CA features a minimum breakdown voltage (Vbr) of 10V and a peak pulse power dissipation of 5000W. Its bidirectional configuration allows it to protect circuits from both positive and negative voltage surges. Housed in a DO-204AR package, this TVS diode offers robust and reliable overvoltage protection for a wide range of applications. It is commonly used in power supplies, telecommunications equipment, and industrial control systems.
